Meet Gabrielle
Hello! My name is Gabrielle Renee Monahan, and I’m exited to share my journey and introduce my photography business based in Champaign, Illinois.
A recent graduate of Illinois State University with a Bacehlor’s degree in Studio Arts, my passion for photography has grown through years of diverse experiences. From childhood summers spent at my family’s outdoor adventure business to travels across the country exploring activities like whitewater rafting, zip-lining, and hiking, I developed a love for capturing moments and telling stories through imagery.

My dedication to photography was solidified in high school when my art teacher encouraged me to submit a photography project to the Illinois School Art Exhibition. Winning “Best in Show” and a photography scholarship inspired me to pursue this creative path.
Since then, I’ve trained under talented commercial and portrait photographers and recently worked as an official photographer for the 2024 whitewater rafting season a New River National Park, capturing 30,000 individual and group portraits.
Coming from a family of small business owners, I understand the importance of professional photography in helping businesses connect with customers and showcase their unique stories.
